Blog Post # 10

When I first began my schooling in California, I started a bit young for my age. I was considered almost a year young for my age and it still didn't make me feel any different. So, when I started to attend Pico Canyon Elementary in Stevenson Ranch, I was actually only 4 years old in my kindergarten class. When I had reached my birthday in November, which was a few months into my schooling, I actually turned 5. Even though for my age I was considered a bit young in comparison to my other classmates, this didn't affect the way I perceived myself to the external environment. I believed my mental struggle was merely based on how I adapted to certain factors as I got older in the years. I felt like my maturity level was a bit lower largely due to my own personal stress levels. I thought that I was going to get bullied for being somehow different, but the major outcome of my different approach against my other peers lead to the result of being isolated. In my book, "Me And The Mental", I described my own experiences of either being a victim of being bullied or antagonizing other peers. However, the real result of all my actions or choices was actually what lead to me being an isolated kid for a lot of my elementary and middle school years. Overall, a mental blockage can lead to an inevitable change.
